Scotty pegs it

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I'm sorry, that was the best I could come up with in such short notice.

That's a relief! Don't want to lose our resident Highlander... ;D

Did I hear somewhere that they never actually said that phrase ("Beam me up Scotty" of course) in Star Trek, EVER?

I'm not a Trekkie, it's one of the few categories of "saddo" that I don't fall into... :innocent:

I wanted to say that

Anyway, I've heard on several occasions they never actually said 'beam me up, Scotty', just like Manuel never said 'I'm from Barcelona, I know nothing' ... Anyone more fanatic to confirm this?
So yes indeed, IIRC boudicca...

(and since I don't have a clue what 'pegs it' actually means, I the title of this topic didn't shock me, though I wondered what he'd done  )

'pegs it' means he's 'pan breid', is that clear now?

Don't mind if I do.

Very sad, but its going to get them all eventually. He did well to get to 85 considering the amount of away expeditions would have been on, all the time wearing that red top. Very dangerous indeed.

And then there was his role in One of Our Spies Is Missing, which was as magnificent a piece of televisual entertainment as you will ever see.
