Faith and the Muse

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

You're lucky that there are only two of us :innocent:
F&tM are like 30 something a piece, they're hardly "darkling teens". I just thought it would be kind of funny.
I wouldn't call myself a "darkling teen" either, I've got too much variety in my interests to be one.

What the hell is wrong with Muse?

And this topic is about Faith and the Muse anyway, a different band.

I think they're brilliant ;_; They're one of my favourite bands and have been for ages. I even bought a Zachary Vex Fuzz Factory to make the squeely sounds in Plug In Baby.

Am I the only one to think the lad out of muse sounds like he's being swung by the ankles as he sings?

I think we have expended enough energy on those two, can we move one?

Yes, for two reasons

first, this topic, unfortunately, wasn't about muse... although his 'singing' is without doubt terrible

second, I suppose some people must like such a singer.

I mean, some prefer phil collins to peter g!

I knew 15 years in IT would pay off eventually. Notice I missed out all the negative posts.

My son loves Muse. I happen to agree. It's a rare thing at the moment. :D

And Boudicca still needs to go to Specsavers.

So I've been told, by many and NME hack. But I can't see it myself. Radiohead do nothing for me.

you're lucky;they either make me want to break things ie whatever the 'music' is coming from or fall asleep.
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I don't think it's "Without doubt" if they're so well loved by people who aren't so anal about guys who sing high. In your opinion, you mean :)

i think the general concensus is that its nothing to do with his "high pitched singing" and everything to do with his wheezing at the start of every single bloody line

Yes. I think he's being swung from the bollocks.
If he does in fact have any, which is open to question.

Francis... you're so bloody predictable! :P
