MacHeartland#3 The Return of Burns

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Oor guid friend frae doon south is paying a vist to oor capital and is popping through tae Glesga on Wednesday 10th August between the hours of 2pm and 9pm. I shall be there on the platform with some shortie, black bun, a bit of coal and a fish wrapped in a ribbon (they dae it in The Broons) to welcome him. A sesh of serious drinking will then ensue with some canapes at Boab's Brassiere or L'Cafe Tam.
As always I extend an invite to anyone who can be bothered tae get aff thir deid erses and actually attend.

More details will follow, innat.

I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.

I'm giving 10-1 that's a rhetorical question. Quiffy, what are Billy Hills offering this time?
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

why is there a problem with your school uniform?...i only have memories of being dressed in black at school...white shirt (sometimes  ) and a black and white tie...but mainly black with some decorations that the school frowned upon...and found decidely offensive

can't understand why everyone hates/hated their school uniform or dress code...i was quite happy :? i think
