Eyebrow Pluckin'!

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Haha, you're talkin' to the right person!

I used to be completely eyebrow-less, about 4 years ago, I drew them on painstakingly every morning, a la Marlene Dietrich (or possibly some dodgy drag queen, if you're wanting to be nasty) before it became "all the rage" in Goff circles. :von:  ;D

It's very simple. You pull the damn hair out, it doesn't hurt, and you don't wince like a GIRL about it! :P

On second thoughts, you can get it Mr Doorman

I should really tire of using PM references on the open board soon, actually. Might get me into trouble :innocent:

Pluck it out the way it grows in, if that makes sense...or put ice on them to make them numb.

Or do it right after a hot shower/bath so the pores are more open.

Yeah - Ice Cubes do the trick. I am having mine done every week or so and, as I don't like pain at all (all my tattoos and piercings were done with anesthethic cream, requested a ceasearian coz it hurts less, even being a blood donor I always request an anesthethis before my donations) I always make sure I have enough ice cubes before even starting. But you get used to it. Now think about Brazilians ;D

Whatever you do, DON'T use Nair for that, no matter what the bottle tells you.

I pluck my eyebrows every 2-3 days and it doesn't hurt me at all. But I know a lot of girls who say it hurts them. Strange.
However, I once tried to pluck one very small hair from the place between my upper lip and my nose. It was a tiny little thing, so tiny that it was very difficult to catch it - and it hurt so much! My eves got full of tears and I started sneezing and I said f**k it, let it be as it is!

I've not plucked in years.

And they grew back quite normally now, thankfully.

If you let it be all these other little hairs will start getting ideas and before you know it you'll have a full-blown 'tache!
