Am particularly loving the colour of the decor The room kinda reminds of those pods you can rent in Japan.
Still, it seems to have everything you require to get some shut eye....unless you require room for your nightly cat swinging.
Need a cheap place to stay in London?

"Crash pads"? There's talk of them introducing them in the north too: I read that Leeds, Newcastle and Manchester were being mooted as test-runs at one point, but I read the other day that Manchester's rather Victorian council have nixed the idea.
I've stayed in one briefly, on a stop-over, and they're ok for a night's sleeping but its very difficult to get up to any degree of trouble in a space that "big". And thats not for want of trying I might add.

I like it. They look useful.
Tsk! Failing that, I once found a nice palce - £16 a night, two sinks, fridge, draw full of forks, bed, telly that switched itsself on and off and a lift that didn't know the way to "down".

Shockingly, no. Very clean. No suspicious stains in the shower, bed or on the walls.boudicca wrote: Fcukin' hell! London? £16?
No cockroaches or anything?
Nice one!
Although there might have been some blue hairdye stains when I left - but i wouldn't know anything about that...

Certainly better then where I stayed earlier this year in London. A tiny dark hole with no working heater (in February ) The coackroaches wished each other a good night on my blanket. As an extra came the shower curtain covered all over with blood stains. Probably the last unsatisfied customer was carried away in it. So I swallowed my comments and paid the 70 pounds.Debaser wrote:http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/4736109.stm

Any recommandations for my next visit are welcomed.

Saw this on the news; perfect idea, 'specially for desperate cross-country gig followers. How many partied-out goffs have spent painful evenings reclining on benches and napping in bus stations?

Way to orange... Whenever you open your eyes accidentally, you'll never be able to sleep anymore that night
Now, the easy-concern has had worse ideas, like the very orange cruiseship

Only thing is, you have to stand *really* still if a security guard happens to find you.

You wouldn't be able to see me .... just a seemingly dismembered yellow head... I tell you, orange is just the way forwards, you lot are all out of whack. Slowly but surely, you will all see the lightChairman Bux wrote:Debaser can always "hack" orange, can't you poppet?

Wasn't Hotel Eric in Wood Green, was it?? That place scarred me fer life...it's a pub tale and a half that one! I should be able to chip in with a horror hotel in Ulan Batur at this point, but I can't.
The great thing about travelling in places like that is the chance of staying in a luxury modern hotel suite for US$60. Air-con is a must. I dread to think what the US$4 hostels were like.
A shabbily converted boat in Krasnoyarsk was more challenging, but at least there was character amid the crap.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Yep - I would have paid to sleep in one of those as opposed to Birmingham Airport when we went to see the Sisters at the NEC - and we weren't the only goths there because the trains stopped at something like 8.30 pmtimsinister wrote:Saw this on the news; perfect idea, 'specially for desperate cross-country gig followers. I never talk during music, at least during good music. If one hears bad music, it is one's duty to drown it in conversation.
