totally and utterly bastard jealous....but as my abscence was unavoidable (no prize for the first to shout "contraception!") only jealous in the nicest possible way.
fair to say it looks unbelieveably awesome - wish i ccould download mark's recording)
glad you had a good time!

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I only woke up an hour ago!
Can I add that it was nice to hear the First & Last & Always intro played properly, and not the abomination we've had to suffer in previous years.
Plus either the arrangement for Temple Of Love was slightly different, or maybe it was just because the guitars sounded clearer and crisper and much better than I've heard them before.
You missed me, you git!Quiff Boy wrote:anyone else i missed?

Photos. Mostly pre-gig pub stuff, but a few of the band too

Your camera is clearly malfunctioning; there are a number of pictures of me, but they've been horribly distorted, so I look like I'm doing things or acting in a style most unlike Sinister.
I demand they be taken down immediately.

The Scene won't save you...
I'm not good at posting proper reviews but I'll be at all the gigs and will try my best to add something...
Was brilliant yesterday! I think the sound and AE's voice were better than what we're used to, and the new Chris fits in brilliantly. Was a stonking gig, and somehow they sounded more raw, more like in earlier years than during the last decade.
Looking very much forward to Tilburg.

Great pics!

OMG! I just realised that my father-in-law secretly leads a rock band in England... http://mordvap.net/temp/b.jpg

"Baby... boogie... baby." - AE
Agreed. Chris is the man - I thought he took care of the rythm guitar parts admirably, and there was no dodgy make-up on show either!nick the stripper wrote:The new Chris has definitely brought something to the band.

I couldn't agree more, Eva. Although I say this after 'most' Sisters shows, this most certainly was up there as one of the best. Brilliant.Eva wrote: Was brilliant yesterday! @ Scardy - top photos mate - nice vantage point you got there.

Thanks a lot for these photos Simon. As the evening approaches I'm slowly getting used to this new image. Can I just say again that I really like the string vest?
(Yeah I know this thread was meant to be free from pointless repeated nonsense but I badly need to release my emotions today. You can delete it afterwards. )

are you sure this isn't evil Andrew from a parallel universe?

you're probably looking at adam, about to bass on play "romeo down" - clicky
unless you mean the person stood at the back behind a bank of equipment? that is simon d - clicky
yes, THE simon d - clicky, clicky and clicky
What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
Hmm.... Looking at those pics of Adam makes me wonder - has anyone seen him and Christopher Ecclestone in the same room?
Finally got home (had to go to work on my way back, that wasn't very nice...). The gig was brilliant. It's totally different experience to see the sisters at such a small venue, on a small stage, with basic lights and not the best sound. They rocked! The band sounds heavier (with their new guitarist), Andrew's voice has also improved (maybe because it has rested for two years? ). Cannot wait till Tilburg! (no alcohol for me this time )
