it gives me the greatest of pleasures to announce that this morning, at O9.31 (BST) the beautiful Charlotte, Mrswhizzkid, gave birth to a baby boy!!!! MY SON!!
he weighed in at 8lb 8oz (3.25Kg) and is AWESOME!
we have called him Rocky.
mother and son are both absolutely fine.

not been here for a couple of days for obvious reasons -lots of gazing adoringly at the baby; lots of walking around in the middle of the night trying to settle him;a fair amount of stupid,ignorant in-laws who thinks it's perfectly acceptable to tell you that you've got to change your baby's name to something 'normal' (when they think its ok to call their children "felicity" and "dylan" ); and a surprising amount of resting -much needed by all (i was not with it when i last posted here.. ).
