Father of the Synthesizer dies

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

While he inadvertently contributed to the creation of certain branches of music that one would rather not be subjected to, there's no doubt that he did a bloody lot for the side of it which is appreciated.

No doubt resting in peace to the sound of a soothing sine wave 8)

I remember posting a link which asked for messages to be sent to him during his illness.

Another legend gone.

You got there before me, Motz.

The legend is gone. If he'd not been making synths, music today would have been so stale and overused.

RIP, to the man playing the great theremin above.

Pioneer and innovator and bloody nice bloke. Introduced to his brand by a rabid KORG owner who nonetheless owned everything ever made by the Moog Cookbook lads.

Truly mindexpanding. Farewell. :|

his surname was pronounced to sound like vogue, ie. Mogue

I've split the Kids' TV stuff off into a separate topic.

My bad.
