Roskilde 2006

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Hey I didn't know the Raveonettes were Danish.

out of solidarity and the fact that i might even be able to go,i voted for the sisters, motorhead and new model army.and turbonegro (for delilah  ) i would have voted for the other bands vicus voted for but i had forgotten their names by the time i came to do it  they're not restricting it to one vote each though -what a shame festivals here don't have the same policy -glastonbury never has anybody on who's not nearly dead  (or should be dead  )
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

I've gone for Sisters, Poison Idea, Angels of light for international.

For Nordic, I've gone for Circle (They're Finnish does that count?) and I couldn't think of anyone else who's still playing (help!)

For Denmark I could only think of Mercyful Fate/ King Diamond....

Giz a hand Nordic/Denmark people

I suppose Ghost Dance,Joy Division and The Chameleons are out of the question :( ,I wouldn't bother about the rest, unless The Leather Nun could be there?.

As far as I know The Leather Nun has gone the same way as Ghost Dance :(
(hopefully not the Joy Division direction).
I think Rian is the man who knows more about that matter.
