I can do better:
Bertha, lovely Bertha
Sometimes we think you're a dream
When we work out what you have to do
you can always turn the goods out
always turn the goods out
we can depend upon you
Clicking in the day
flashing in the night
your computer shining brightly
sometimes I think you've a mind of your own
yes I think that's rather likely...Likely....
etc

I must say Motz, how you remember Bertha with your current yearage is beyond me. It's only in the very furthest recesses of my memory...timsinister wrote:I think she's taking the p*ss...boudicca wrote:Timbo and Motz: U gEt teh sWeeTIez!

You were probably being sick down someone's shoulder at the time.Motz wrote:Very early mornings on Channel 4, I think. Or was that Sharky and George? Never saw it on prime time TV. I got most of my high quality programmes from the filler scheduling at odd times
Dangermouse was tops as well ... I think we were the last kids that got anything decent to watch, now it's all Tweenies and s**t...
God it's getting like one of those "I love the 1980's" programmes now.

A green vampire duck who is a vegitarian and lives in a castle that could travel through time and space.Dark wrote:Dangermouse.. the greatest non-Japanese cartoon ever invented.
With the possible excuse of Count Duckula.
Sounds good to me!

We just don't get quality kids telly anymore. Mind you, Saturday mornings are things that happen to other people.

There is a morning on Saturdays is there?
You live and learn.
You live and learn.
I dunno, Dick and Dom in da bungalow can be very funny. But then again, that's probably because I only get to see it when I've been out untill a silly house, gone home, spoonfed tomato paste to the dog and then put the telly on.
And when you get to that point, putting a gaggle of really horrble kids in a house with two men who are obviously on drugs and then encourageing them to be more hyperactive and obnoxious seems like a good idea for a tv show.

So they tell me. It's that bit of friday night that gets very bright - the bit just before bedtime.straylight wrote:There is a morning on Saturdays is there?

Good God No. I was merely having flashbacks to the childhood, back before Sinister arrived...
That said, Pugwash? All those innuendos? Shocking.
