Discovery.

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

How strange.. from under my desk I've found some Sisters postcards my sister gave me a few years ago.

All 4 are "overbombing" era people. On the back they all have the Head And Star (like the one on SGWBM), and at the bottom:

"Postcards From Above The Chemist" - Illustrations By Andrea White ©The Reptile House 1993

Worth anything?

They may have been advertised in UTR.

I'll check later and get back to you.

They were sent out with the hardback pressing of the 'Postcards...' book.

Couldn't find them for sale. Just as a prize for the runners up in some trivia contest.

Spartacus is probably right.

I bought mine for 2 quid or so from The Reptile House back in 93. Scans are already in the photo section.

Sentimental value?

I was thinking, if it's a Reptile House/Band release, then presumably it's quite a collectable, considering you can't wander into a shop to pick it up anywhere...

The same here. But I have to add that I got my books (both versions) from eBay.

Can't find them in the photos section, but there should be 6 altogether - ref: RH047 according to the 93 pricelist (which I'll add ot the photos once I get access to a scanner again).
