Desktops - Windows to the soul...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Not at all. Then again, I never said who somebody is!
True... but I can hazard a guess  . Does he know?
If not, I'm telling him! He'll be delighted, I just know it...

Nowt on client work pc.
Corporate bollix on company laptop.
Main Workhorse @ home is a dual screen setup so that's blank 'cos I can't be arsed finding a 3200 x 1200 res image and repeated images are confusing.
Since all the other machines are either headless or virtual and accessed via remote dektop / VPC there's no point in pulling background images over the LAN so none on any of them.
Mac PowerBook has some nice B&W photos that came as part of the Tiger upgrade so I've got one of some misty rocks at the moment.

Tell the truth I rarely get to see the desktop as it's invariably covered in open apps.
Something pithy.

If a desktop should be the 'window to the soul', well mine exemplifies best the shallowness of my simple mind. ;D
