Joy Division for me as well
Err, several line-ups of the Sisters, to see them go through the phases...
Johnny Cash would've been nice too
As CD said: The Sisterhood
Nirvana would've been cool
Err, Millionaire, for they did not turn up friday, and Anne Clark, since Christophe is busy informing me how great she actually was yesterday
Guess some more bands, but can't think of any more right away..

Joy Division
Bauhaus
Pink Floyd
Eels (with Butch, I've seen them without)
Leonard Cohen (Not a band, but meh)
To be honest, all live music is great. If I've got a CD or two by a band then I'd love to see it in the flesh.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Curve yet, or have we all seen them?

saw PWEI many times in the early 90's, and at 2 of the recent reformation gigs. Great band.James Blast wrote:seen 'em, twicescotty wrote:Pop Will Eat It Self.

yeah Scardy Curve were an intense live experience.
Toni is even smaller than we think, but what a front woman.
take note Ms. S. Manson

Indeed. A bit like Debbie Harry fronting The Jesus & Mary Chain.James Blast wrote:yeah Scardy Curve were an intense live experience.

i've seen them a fair few times as well -from "poppycock" (whats so fuckin' good about candy etc) era through "this is this" to "tour for sanity" -top band who always tried new ground regardless of getting slagged for it on occasion. clint poppy used to go out with my ex's mate and he'ld turn-up at leicester poly union bar at dinner times, surrounded by PWEI-t-shirt wearing students who never had a f**king clue who he was;but in those days all students wore tees by bands like "james" because they were trendy and had never heard a record by them!Scardwel wrote: saw PWEI many times in the early 90's, and at 2 of the recent reformation gigs. PWEI - Unspoiled by History
they came, they did their thing, they parted company at the right time.
and now...
they get back together when we need them most
Blast loves The Poppies!

Can't think of a single one. Did very well for myself gigwise as a yoof back when there were actually venues for bands to play in Leeds.
Never saw Joy Division so them I guess.
And Bowie's "Glass Spider" tour wasn't a high spot so I'd quite liked to have seen him either earlier OR later
