WILLARD GRANT CONSPIRACY
------------------------
Archy's Lullaby Released to acclaim last year in U.K., this third proper album is just now finding its way over here, highlighted by a heartbreaking ballad that sounds like a Cowboy Junkies number sung by the Sisters Of Mercy. (From "Mojave", Slow River/Ryko)
LOL! wtf?

has anyone heard them? is this a good comparison? sounds intriguing anyway!

I`ve seen WGC a few times & I have all their stuff . They usually get classed as " gothic folk / alt country" or something on those lines .
Their stuff is really laid back & sounds nearer Nick Cave than SOM .
WGC are really good to chill out to but don`t really sound like the Sisters .
