spring tour

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Could this mean that There's Life In The Old Goffs Yet??
Is this a sign that there may be Reason To Celebrate in 2003??
Can we hope for New Product in the coming year?
Is this a New Dawn?

Yeah, well we can hope I s'pose...

Has anybody an idea how quick they use to sell out the tickets in such kind of cases? I havn't been in any gig of the Sisters' own tour. I was in M'era Luna this year but I reckon there are differences between selling tickets of a festival and a band's own tour. So - what do you think - is it more reasonable to order a ticket right now or wait until they add other gigs of the tour and there are maybe some places nearer me?

From what I remember some of the German dates on the 2001 Exxile Tour sold out fairly quickly (the Hamburg gigs in particular) with the notable exception of the Erfurt gig which didn't sell out at all (probably because the venue for that one was the biggest on the tour - 4000 capacity I think).
And the Zurich gig sold out in a matter of days so I wouldn't be surprised if they play there again on this tour.

They'd better announce some UK dates.

Also hopefully Near Meth Experience will do a gig and this time I might find out about the gig before and not the day after!

You have been moved nearer to Berlin but from my side it seems to be on the contrary:

I ussually order my tix from Eventim ( http://www.eventim.de ). They ship outside of Germany and are very fast but the shipping charge is expensive (15 euro per order if I remember right). The site is in German but the good ole Babelfish will translate it.
