Am I the only one who sits home alone on a Saturday night, left date-less at the mercy of an eclectic choice of Horror-movies to pass the time?
Have my fellow HL'ers something more enviable to do? Please spare no raunchy details.

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

listening to some quality music which has the desired effect of putting my youngest to sleep
unfortunately it's not suitable for everyone as it's not comercial and finding anywhere that plays this is totally impossible where i live

Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

Mmmmh. I stopped looking for dates in the pervy scene a while ago.boudicca wrote:Stick on that nurse's uniform, Jess, and I'm sure you won't be short of a date for long!
@MB. Go ahead, free yourself. No mod around at the moment. But if they come and get you, I didnt encourage anything....
@nick: Evil Dead surely passes some time. My schedule: Freaks, Rats, The Shining, Arachnophobia.

Nothing too enviable.
Talking to you isn't very enviable either
Ok, I lied. It's far more enviable than talking to me =(

As for horror movies, I went for a couple of Universal classics for tonight's viewing - The Invisible Man (1933) and Phantom of the Opera (1943).

At least you don't look like one. As far as I can tell.Obviousman wrote:And I'm no goff at all
@Smiscandlon: My favourites from that time would be: Wolf Man (41), Frankenstein (31) and King Kong (33).
Just realized, that Jack Nicholson says in The Shining: "Here comes Jacky" and not "Here comes Johnny", how I thought.

You shouldn't watch these movies by yourself!!! And the last one on your plan for this evening is going to give you the creeps if scared of spiders....canon docre wrote: Just realized, that Jack Nicholson says in The Shining: "Here comes Jacky" and not "Here comes Johnny", how I thought.
p.s. Once had a Jack Nicholson look-alike in the bar that I was working for like 15 years ago in S.A. and when that man walked into the bar....the hair at the back of my neck stood on end....had seen The Shining...and have seen both copies.
