How well do you know your Fav(ourit)e Band?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

100%, 1005 pop points :D

Then again, with the amount of product that Herr Von Eldritch has given us, it wasn't that difficult :innocent:

Edit:
100%, 1965 pop points for my other favourite band (Eels), despite their attempts to seemingly dupe me by putting in other people's albums with the word "Eels" in the title :von:

I got 826 points and 100% for Arcturus - and was also impressed that they were on there! :notworthy:

Do I have to do the Sisters as well?

Strange, I got Arcturus and The Sisters suggested as other ones that I might like to try after completing the Eels one.

Edit: Obviousman, that's no excuse, I got that one first off.

Largely due to the fact that it was the only one that I didn't recognise, so it had to be Monochrome :innocent:

Damn, I knew that Eldritch has a pact with the devil and now I have to burn in hell for not knowing better.

Just did Radiohead and got 30%.

I put this down to the fact that the thing was chock full of singles and unofficial stuff like interview disks. Didn't see "The Bends" or "Kid A" even presented as options. Perhaps this is more of an exercise in how well the creator of the quiz knows the band's album covers

Ah, I thought it would be some automated thingy, perhaps connected to amazon's database or something...
But if that's the case, well

The Sisters one was categorised as "very easy"...

Well of course, when you never release any bloody records, it's only going to be one of a few, isn't it? :von:

Then again, quality control... :notworthy:

PRE-cisely! I can live with it.

They should include Russian Flexi covers, or Heartland-designed compilation sleeves... :von:

technically.. but i think 'fave' is well bedded in to the vernacular as a word in its own right.
