Violent Femmes?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Has anyone been to one of their gigs recently? My friend has invited me to go see them in Jo'burg with him in November. Only problems being it's a two hour flight and I haven't listened to anything to by them since about 1995.

Are they worth the pain and cost of a two hour flight for the casual listener?

afraid only know the self-titled album. the album with all the big ones one... add it up, gone daddy gone, blister in the sun, kiss off, etc etc

no idea what the rest of their stuff sounds like :?

Never tell from the 2nd lp is awesome

as were a couple of songs on their 3rd, after that i lost interest
