And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. "I'm organising a tour for Robochrist for November and December, to coincide with a single release later in the year. Yes, the unthinkable has (almost) happened - I've got a record deal. Don't wanna say too much right now in case it goes tits up, and it's not exactly £1,000,000 advance sort of stakes, but it's two guys who run a label in love with music and silliness and they want to put it out. So yeah, if you want to put Robochrist on at your venue, pub, bedroom, village fete or bar mitzvah, get in touch. The single will feature a new track as the A side. The old CD will be relaunched as well, with proper packaging and everything, and shock horror you'll be able to buy it on here. There'll be t-shirts and badges and all sorts of nonsense, hopefully hats and frisbees too.

In other exciting yet slightly sad news I had to scrap my crap car. So I'm on the look out for a new crap car, if anyone has one they'd like to give me or swap for some shekels then get in touch.

The Sisters Of Mercy tour was great. But please don't email me asking for Andrew Eldritch's shoe size because I don't know.
I'm rehearsing with another band soon as well, which is ace. But I won't say too much about that just yet, in case I'm rubbish and they hate me.

With Chris being one of the hardest-working and most ambitious musicians in Leeds, I don't think he'd be satisfied with his music career consisting solely of being part of a band that tours every other year and never releases records.

Even if that band is the Sisters.

Well, obviously the most important thing to him is to be able to live of making music, so I guess doing six gigs a year with a band doesn't quite help a lot for that matter...

What would he do if they'd start becoming a serious full-time band again? (allright, very theoretical, but still)

That's what I mean...Chris does his own thing, like Adam....

They are not writing and or recording new songs together. Is Von doing this on his own? Don't think so.

Just touring...every once in a while...and we have to wait and see who will be playing the guitar(s).

I do not remember where or when I read it but Andrew was asked the question if the 2005 tour contains any surprises. He answered something like "a big surprise in the future, just not now".
Also was mentioned that there would be an interview with Laut.de after one of the gigs. This did not take place unfortunately.
Could be Vicus' site where I read about it.

Now what would that big surprise be? No 25 years anniversary tour next year? :?

Nah...stay positive...two new albums (1993 - 2003 songs and one with completely new songs) and a double DVD...(1981-1993; 1993 - 2006) :lol: :lol:

i guess in the future things might change a little, and andrew might be ending up playing bass in robochrist.

hopefully he gains enough interest in what he is doing on his own, not just because he was playing guitar in the sisters. and it's important to respect him and not to contact him only due to 7 dates a year. he might get upset by that, leading into the sisters having to search for the next replacement........

heard that in tabor also. and i easily might find 1000 reasons why this would be great but none why not. i really think the three of them would fit together very good writing- and recording-wise.

I agree. Chris is young and seems to have a lot of energy and plenty ideas regarding all the things he does/did.
