TV series "John Doe"

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Happened to see an episode of this series yestereve on swedish TV4
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0320038/

There were a couple of Sisters-references in it.
1. a girl had the eye of Horus branded on her arm, and Mr. Knowitall (John Doe) told her that it was that and that Egyptian symbol and also featured on the album Vision Thing by Sisters of Mercy, released 13 november (don't bite my head off me if I remeber incorrectly) 1990. The girl said something like "Yeah, it's a goth symbol"
2. In a dialogue they quoted "Gimme Gimme Gimme",
"Won't somebody help me chase the shadows away
Take me through the darkness to the break of the day"
, and said it was by Sisters (and also said it was named "A man after midnight"). This however is only partially true since ABBA wrote the song and Sisters only covered it...

Sadly, no Sisters songs in the episode though...

Just some unimportant information for you... :)
