Bearing in mind the badge to the left, I remember Ian Harte in front of goal all too well - if your best chance falls to him, then you seriously don't deserve to be in the World Cup.

I think it's a tiny bit of a pitty that the Irish did not make it too Germany 2006. I went to see Holland - Ireland in 1988 (European Championships) and I had some nice talks and drinks with a few of the fans before and after the game.
On the other hand I don't care because I won't visit any games but save some money for a certain XXV anniversary tour.
