Is it true that he sang in a local reggae band in his early days (pre FotN)? I read that somewhere (can't remember where) and I suspect him to have a mighty fine rasta roar
in dub we trust

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"

What’s the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
Yeah everything is under the name FOTN which confused me as he had previously stated that all further releases would be under the name 'The Nephilim' something about wanting to look forwards not backwards.Erudite wrote:FOTN is site advertisement, sleeve art and SPV info are any indication.Nazareth wrote: Is this release under the name 'The Nephilim' or 'Fields of the Nephilim'?
I'm assuming someone at the record company, particularly with a view toNazareth wrote:Yeah everything is under the name FOTN which confused me as he had previously stated that all further releases would be under the name 'The Nephilim' something about wanting to look forwards not backwards.Erudite wrote:FOTN if site advertisement, sleeve art and SPV info are any indication.Nazareth wrote: Is this release under the name 'The Nephilim' or 'Fields of the Nephilim'?
flogging the back catalogue convinced Carl that it would be more commercially viable to use FOTN, and avoid any confusion.
Where did you get the picture in you're avatar?
Just when I thought Carl couldn't look anymore peculiar (or silly).
Dear God - a veil!
You are what you drink - I'm a bitter man!
Haha, yeah it is weird seeing him in 'mourning'. I got one of the images from d00mw0lf at http://tinypic.com/e96blv.jpg
here is the one i have used in my avatar http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a293/ ... /Carl1.jpg
it seems someone at the record company leaked them.

Agreed. But good to know that he has some profane goals as well:markfiend wrote:Typical f*cked-up Chaos Magickian bull$hit.
"We want to challenge The Cure to a hot curry competition and a game of snooker."
Put their heads on f*cking pikes in front of the venue for all I care.
Is that not Petit - at least he had a sense of humour. Never really liked the Neffies - or any of the G*th second coming for that matter.
Nazareth... are you getting me into trouble again?
Yes, Mr McCoy wasn't pleased you leaked his pictures! Although i must admit my part, as i helped distribute them!
Apparently the site they originally appeared on was german, so it could be a record company leak. The same day it happened the myspace profile was removed, it seems 'The Watchman' wasnt happy

he looks as if he would resolve into dust any second. Not even the black veil can protect him from the sunlight.Nazareth wrote:oh come on, he looks like he might be about to crack a smile in my avatar pic!

he looks more like he's about to say "oooooh... get her!!"Nazareth wrote:oh come on, he looks like he might be about to crack a smile in my avatar pic!
Ask him how many press ups he used to make 'Nod' do?
Also he's possessed of a selective memory:
For Melody Maker in '89..
"There are some ugly people. Look, at That Guitarist. He's ugly isn't he?"
"It's great when The m*****n or the Sisters go in the charts, but at the same time, I feel what they're contributing is sort of conforming," he sniffs.
"I don't think we can slag these bands off," ventures Tony.
"I'll slag anyone off," says McCoy.
The,when Wayne rips Carl a new one in an interview in Siren in '92..
" I've read that article on Hussey cos several people were asking me just what I had done to upset that man. I don't know That Guitarist, I never met him and don't know anything about his work except what you get from the TV. "
Okay Carl...
As for questions..
1:Why did you ink a deal with Jungle Records behind the back of the Wright brothers, leaving them stranded?
2:Why did your official merchandise service keep it's customers waiting up to seven months before sending them what they had paid for?
3:What was that countdown on your website counting down to,exactly?
4:Is this pseudo-cult you've created "24th Moment" legit,or just another attempt to make you seem enigmatic and mysterious?
5:Do you think complaining about Jungle releasing "Fallen" is a little unfair, since you hadn't any work to show for five years under contract to them?
I used to really love the FOTN,but jeez McCoy is a delusional prima donna..
