Lurkers

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I did it a couple of times during the exams, just to see what was going on here...

Yes, our Mr. Francis has a way with that cutting, yet witty remark. I don't want to like him.

I can't help myself :(

Oh! and Lee 'knobwand' is excellent, may I add to your armoury one 'veal rapier'?

You'll be lucky. He's still got glue in his hair from two weeks back.
There is increasing evidence to suggest that Chris may have been being sarcastic.

This thread is funny. It was started yesterday with little replies. Half a day later I am at work again reading this stuff. Good start of the day.

Yeah, when it stopped being about lurkers and started being about FILFF!

Just want to say, this thread isn't directed at those of you (like Delilah for example) who don't log in every single time. Neither do I...

It was more an attempt to bring these hesitant creatures out the woodwork. A friendly "join in!" which somehow has disintegrated into a dictionary of (rather good) euphemisms  .
And the paranoia of someone who knows she's a gobsh!te, obviously...

And the more folk you meet, the easier it is to be cliquey without meaning too, which cannot make it easier for folk to pitch in I guess.

Just walk on in.....

it seemed a bit cliquey when i first joined -now ive met a good chunk of the people i'ld most like to have met its not at all like that...Dave :innocent:

edit: anyway, its just a natural filter to discourage the weak and gang-up on the trolls
