Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Just been to the Glasgow gig,I would go again. They didn't play too many sing a long tracks.Might have spotted Scotty but didn't want to make a tit of myself and ask, spotted Andrew S, who was very busy walking back and forward to the bar.

And to the toilet So why didn't you say hello? I saw one guy in a Sisters shirt but didn't recogise him. As for NMA, I'm not a big fan but I enjoyed their set, although I got covered in cider in the process, which was only to be expected. Incidentally, I'm not familiar with the Chameleons but I was impressed with Mark Burgess' band.Pat wrote:Just been to the Glasgow gig,I would go again. They didn't play too many sing a long tracks.Might have spotted Scotty but didn't want to make a tit of myself and ask, spotted Andrew S, who was very busy walking back and forward to the bar.

Oh dear.TORRENT BANNED FROM DIME!
DEMOTABLE INFRACTION
These files are .mp3-sourced, and the user even has the .mp3 set. He should have consulted us about posting the .mp3's (or should have recorded them as .wav in the first place, but it's too late for that). Unlike a capture of a web stream on equipment that can save it only as .wav, conversions of .mp3 *files* to a filetype for lossless audio, no matter what the original bit rate, are not permitted here.
The uploader should consult with the moderators about a post of the undisguised .mp3 files.

Oooops. I managed to get a copy but haven't given it a listen yet. I guess I should just keep it in flac as MP3ing will just screw it up more.markfiend wrote:Pat wrote:NMA 16/10/05 available on Dimeadozen

Well, went to see NMA in Glasgow last night, how would I describe it?, tame, very tame. What happened to the "circle", towers being built, girls sitting on your shoulders?. NMA gigs always used to be really rough affairs, I would stand back and watch in awe at the "followers" make a big circle that nobody would dare go in, towers would be built, the whole thing was great to watch, last night, nothing, or next to nothing, what's happened?........
NMA were great, you'd expect that, no complaints about the music, Mark Burgess was superb again, as you'd expect. Anybody going in the next few nights listen for "When I Get Old" being sung over Faith No More's "We Care A Lot", well it sounded like it to me

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"
Typical, I thought I would catch it today.hallucienate wrote:Oooops. I managed to get a copy but haven't given it a listen yet. I guess I should just keep it in flac as MP3ing will just screw it up more.markfiend wrote:Pat wrote:NMA 16/10/05 available on Dimeadozen

Most NMA followers have got to that stage in life now where it would be bad for their joints to do stuff like that...scotty wrote:NMA gigs always used to be really rough affairs, I would stand back and watch in awe at the "followers" make a big circle that nobody would dare go in, towers would be built, the whole thing was great to watch, last night, nothing, or next to nothing, what's happened?...
I was rather glum last nite, having missed it myself.
