best boot from sisters live in 2005?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

Are the Sisters only touring the European festivals nowadays? Or have I missed this year's UK dates? (I don't think I've missed a tour since Wembley Arena and would hate to start now!)

Also, where can i hear Uptown Top Ranking (and any other new songs since snubnose?)

More importantly, can anyone let me know the best way to transfer my Sisters boots from tape to MP3.

Cheers!
Welcome to HL!!!

No, they don't only play festivals nowadays. In 2003 there was the Smoke and Mirrors tour with quite some gigs and in 2005 there were some non-festival gigs (like Tilburg) as well. Not as many but the Sisters experience nowadays: "It howls, it's grindingly beautiful, and it's probably heading your way."

They are even working on a new album as you can read on their site

Other new songs since Snubnose/Top Nite Out? Hard to find. There is a song called Slept. Have a look at e-bay and try to find the Smoke and Mirrors boot (and probably others). Uptown Top Ranking will be harder to find.

Well my Belgian friend. It might have something to do with the fact that weekend is about to begin. :notworthy:

I'm quite partial to the Tilburg remaster I did. Not have Lokeren or a proper version of Leeds. Have the rest so if anyone wants to swap - drop me a PM.

The "as soon as..." part is a very wise choice....
And to answer it: When my exams are over, which will be by mid November.
Hey, I have suffer so why shouldn't you?

Edit: A repeated offer from QB and his mod mates made me change my mind: They'll weed them for me :D - and I'll suffer on my own...

With your intelligence and objectivity, I reckon there's only one possible outcome Eva. Luck don't come into it.
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

I've never been as nervous, and I've hardly ever felt as stupid. I've learned a lot in all these years, yes, and I've revised well I'd say, but as soon as I sit in front of these professors (who are very nice good willing people!) I have a complete blackout - I just loose my train of thoughts, whatever they ask... It's a nightmare. Whinging over, back to revising.

Good luck with the remainder of your exams. I don't doubt for one minute that you'll pass them all. As you say, you've learnt a lot and done the revising. And it'll be over soon!
