Single again !

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Nice one IZ. Thing is that I'm not the only one in the office right now and you just made me laugh a bit too loud.

Yeah, sounds odd I must say. Maybe just ask her?
probably not worth it unless you want to hear some convoluted rubbish me-me-me pop-psychobabble compiled from the agony pages of the Dutch equivalent of Heat/Cosmo/etc. Just dismiss them as "not worth it" and you'll be spot on.
Yeah, possibly that's all you'd get. Just on the offchance she'd say "I'm planning to elope with your best mate" or something. Might clear up your confusion pretty sharpish!

If there's nothing so clear, then it sounds like you're just well shot of her. You obviously cared about her very much, if she doesn't want that, then invest your time and effort in someone who does.

They should be used to extremely loud noises from your side by now, what with you playing the Sisters real loud and all... ;)

Anyway, I, for one, did not notice the loud laughter, so I don't bother much...

Ah... so you play loud music at work.

She took away your stereo.

So she was your boss at the office.

THAT was the problem!

I was referring to Mr Blast.

Anyways, foot placed firmly in mouth, I'm well positioned to shut up. Suffice to say my comment was not intended to offend anyone.

Nope, she was my boss at home and took my home stereo. THAT was the problem . But...I got the pc.

At work we got 3FM on. A lot of crap but well, I'm not on my own here and it could be worse. I wonder what will happen if I put on a Sisters cd. Have to try it one day :innocent:

In my previous life as a Corporate Whore, I managed a Business Travel call centre. All the 'on-hold' music was controlled from a CD player wired into the phone system so on any given day you would get Kylie or Robbie or whatever the Top 40 was at the time played repeatedly and at random.

So one thursday I thought I'd take off all the pop slush and insert 'Some Girls Wander By Mistake'. We ran a sweepstake at £1 a go as to when the first client would mention the on-hold music. I only drew up a list of time slots to last from 0900-1200.

By 1800 NO f*cking client had mentioned it!

Which just goes to show how much people actually listen ... :von:
