Lost - Good or Pants?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Thought I'd throw this one at you all.....

I have just accidently on purpose downloaded Lost series 1 and before I start watching it (25 episodes!) I have a question -

Is it worth watching?

Good or Pants?

Burn or delete?

:D

I'm still not sure about this one.

Really hated it to begin with but I guess I'm getting into it now. Having said that, I wouldn't cry if I missed an episode.

Watched the early stages, got a bit bored.

Are they still on the island? Have there been more slightly strange but not very interesting events?

Are the women still fractionally less attractive than they initially appear?

it is indeed...total pants

By that I meant that from what I have seen of it in magazines and advertising on TV I can guess that I wouldn't like it

It's an utter bore.

One for the Germans: Do I remember correctly that either Pro7, Sat1 or RTL made a german version (with german actors etc.) of it even before the "real thang" started? That was even worse...

Yeah right. It was so bad, they didn't even film on location but in a cheap studio. Then they took some footage of sunny islands to cut in between.

needless to say that it was an utter flop.

Yep, pretty dull by and large. It does have its good bits, but mainly typical yank stunners wandering round trying to figure out not much. I may be wrong, it may have been previously discussed, but aren't they all in purgatory? Seems obvious to me, but that's a catholic education for you. :?

I didn't know that... I just wondered why it disappeared so quickly... And then the real thing started... Image

It seems obvious to me too, even without the Catholic education.

Nope, that theory has been debunked by the creators.

Season 1 was very good, IMO. Season 2 has just started here in Sweden, and after 5 episodes, I start to lose interest in Lost.
