Apologies to the block with the massive quiff I wandered up to in the Phono on New Years eve.
Me: Are you Quiff Boy?
Him: From Heartlands?
Me: Yes!
Him: No, you're the fifth person to ask me!

yep, there are a few be-quiffed types in leeds - and a few of them do go to the phono... what did he look like? how tall was he? was he a big (muscular) chap? did you get his real name?
i'm guessing it was probably tim... nice guy, tall, fairly quiet? superb, black sculptured quiff a la elvis after the army?
incidentally i dont actually have a quiff anymore!
but thanks for thinking of me!
how was the phono? did you have a good night?

Nah...
That'll be Martin - drummer with Liquid Head and occasional DJ.
He wishes he was tall and thin
Usually comes complete with broffel creepers and Hawaiian shirts

Whats the phono like now ?
We all used to come up from Sheffield for the Saturday daytime do & then if we were drunk enough we`d stay for the night too .
It`s the wierdest thing to leave a club half pissed & walk out into the middle of a shopping centre full of old bids shopping
I remember years back that Eldritch once went in & stood near the dj box for ages - no one went to talk to him `cos they all thought he was one of the many lookalikes
I suppose the fact that he only looked 4 feet tall may have put them off too
biggy
