Are there any SOM cover versions sung in any language that aren't rubbish though?

I liked the first Goethes Erben cd's though and have seen them perform live in 94 or so. Very intimate, very dramatic, very intense. Surely not anyone's cup of tea, but I 've seen Oswald Henke on stage a few years ago with Artwork & Erblast and he's still an intriging fellow in my book
The band A Spell Inside have covered Marian, sung half in german . I have that cd (sadly enough...really should kick it out the door)and it's bad. Or more diplomatic: I don't like it very much I played it once, gone straight for marian and hit stop after seconds... Not worth the effort.
