local band suporter

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Interesting, definitely. Not so sure about how low the vocals are in the mix, but the drum beat and plinky-plinky guitars (© 2005 A Very Nice Man ;)) work nicely. It seems to slip between genres, sort of reminds me of "Dumb" by Gary Marx.

Sounds very nice indeed!

But as Motz pointed out already, the vocals could up a little, and beware of the first vocal line. It sounds so low in the mix mainly because the vocal line follows the almost exact tune as the saw synthesizer. They are almost in the same frequency, thus interfering with e/o. And the synth wins ;)

And also watch out for copyright issues with a band name like that ;)

Greetz,

What a loss for music

(Are they taking down the belpop site? Often you get linked through to muziekcentrum vlaanderen, and that site seems quite crappy to me :urff: )

As the singer died it obviously does not exist anymore... But better be careful, some sort of best of was released by EMI not too long ago, so they probably own the rights :)

And Nacht & Nebel's name lives on in way too many minds :von:

why wouldn't you want an original and (hopefully) unique band name?
Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
