My Heartland

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

One hour ago I heard that a friend of mine died yesterday of pneumonia and on top of that blood poisoning. 38 years of age. We studied together, played soccer together, had our drinks together etc. Cannot believe that this is happening.

Rest in peace Brian Kockelkorn. Won't forget you.

The reason I'm putting this here is to get it of my chest. Without feeling sorry for myself or wanting to draw attention I can say that the sun hasn't been shining a lot for me this year. I became a member of HL and all the reading and writing and the Sisters kept me occupied, gave me laughs, more Sisters' stuff etc .

I want to thank you all for that!!! Means more than you could possibly imagine..... :notworthy:

Going home...I'm f*ucked....

Condolences from my side...loosing a friend is never easy...
Go home and have a wodka....

Shît man. Words are inadequate for this situation.

I'm not usually great with words but you have my heartfelt sympathy at this time.

It's the season, I guess.

I heard yesterday that a drinking buddy of mine had a liver transplant but his body won't accept it.

Just a matter of days, maybe hours...

Worst thing is, that I already lost a lot of friends and relatives the last couple of years and sometimes it makes me think "ah, well, another one bites the dust...".

Not that I'm an insensitive guy, but it dulls the mind a bit after a while... :(
