Just downloaded the ridiculously stonking Jeff Minter games for the equally stonking, though slightly dated Vic-20 VICE emulator. Ancient computer heaven. Prepare to be Gridzapped. Again.

But the Spectrum is far better than the Vic 20.
Oh my god it's 1983 all over again.
Like that's a bad thing?
Now I feel like I'm typing an optician's eye chart.

Just clicked onto another thread wot had a Planet Dave missive in it, and ended up having an 80's flashback when I saw the avatar Spent a good minute just staring at it until my addled memory dredged it up as to where it was from
And MF is right re: Commode v. Sinclair.
I laugh in the face of your "proper" keyboard and cartridge-based software
Hurrah for emulaters

Not sure I'm happy about the Chief Judge laughing anywhere near my face. That can only end badly.
But definitely hurrah for emulators. I may have a speccie one, but solely for the multitude of Jet Set Willy games available.

It was Manic Miner and it's been shelved for now until I get my boss off my back...
