Especially after this weekend....
Friday - get dumped by the girlfriend out of the blue.. for supposedly being a bit too spend happy (one weekend/party that this has happened..) and also the fact that she wants time to prepare for her three month trip to Mexico in the new year... Worse of it was, we had just arranged to go for dinner next week, next night its over..
Saturday - got to my friends techno/old skool night Re-Rave-All at Mass, Brixton early, flyer at Brixton tube station in the freezing cold for nearly two hours. Get back, security are complete twats, find a small bit of draw on me. I say I'll take it back and dump it since my house is three minutes away. Tube on door gives me grass back, then says "now you can't get back in".. AFTER giving it back to me.. Couldn't get back in, despite having been effectively on the crew..
Sunday - find out my bike needs a new back wheel..
Feck sake.. could it get any better..
For once I'm glad its Monday....

Oh and what happened to you on Sunday, happened to me on Saturday, except I was on my way home. Ended up pushing it to just before the bridge and then was so p!ssed off by my luck that I left it there to be fetched later...
On the bright side of your story...at least you got your smoking stuff back!
And your girlfriend situation...you get to spend more money on yourself!

I don't normally indulge in such things but I figured I'd need a sedative for the Sunday morning... ended up rather sedate all day Sunday instead..
As for girlfriend thing, I've anaesthatised myself most the weekend so I figure the mourning is over... just a complete shock really... I felt like a car crash victim most weekend.. (aside from the blood/fractures etc...)

I was attempting to console myself with a mixture of Ribbons/Some Kind of Stranger on Friday night whilst in a whiskey/amytriptamine haze and all my CDs are fecked..
even my fricking Japanese version of FALAA...
(note: about 70% of my CD collection got screwed over by taking them to work in crap CD wallets/ moving house four times in a year....)
/me is off to ebay to get some cheap cds...
if anyone wants to take extreme sympathy on me and could provide me with some live stuff I'd be eternally indebted...

sounds like a nightmare weekend mate,my sympathies. i got chucked out of a club we were putting on once for a bit of percyls.its a pain in the arse innit?
but i've gotta say -the bird? well rid! sounds like a right shallow bint .sooner or later it would have to show...which would have gotten to you long after the good sex had stopped. fish/ sea scenario.
as for the cd's try ripping the music to hard drive and burning it on to cd-r. i've got perfect copies of three previously unplayable cd's that way.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

as for the cds, its a bit difficult for that this now as my laptop is really on its last legs.. methinks it'll be quicker buying new ones...
and as for the girl, in the words of one certain AE..
"life is short and love is always over in the morning...."
