My Birthday

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I only really posted this for Francis, Quiffster and The Clone!! (I knew you were coming from LJ Tim) and anyone else who lived in and around Leeds who fancied it. I wasn't expecting people to travel. I'll leave that for my 30th next year. Having a huge do in Whitby. Don't come to that and I'll come round to your house and talk at you.

Wouldn't it be really funny if someone posted this on a forum about a band he didn't much like, just because he happened to have found his missus there?

Couldn't happen, surely :innocent:

So, Diana. Is it McDonalds or BurgerKing? You're not gonna pander to those live-journal herbivores are you?
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

Went to the new Aagrah on the ground floor of the BBC building near the Playhouse last Sunday for a colleague's 40th. Would recommend it but we had a buffet which they paid for so not sure how much it cost or if it's a regular Sunday thing. I'll try and find out tomorrow if I can figure out a way to ask without risking offending him.

I wasn't overly impressed with Aagrah when we went to be honest.

I can highly recommend Azram's Sheesh Mahal on Kirkstall Road. (More-or-less opposite the Vue Cinema / Pizza Hut / Mucky D's complex)

Didn't get a look at the menu or the prices but the restaurant's very swish and I've never had a bad meal in any of the Aagrahs I've been too. And they don't use any artificial colourings so no red, white and blue pilau rice thankfully. I even enjoy their vegetarian dishes. :innocent:

Certainly very popular and frequently recommended. I've only ever been in there after a belly-full of beer unfortunately. Not really the best time to appreciate the finer points of Indian cuisine. And I seem to recall they'd rammed as many tables in there as possible. Remind me what colour their pilau rice is.
