After two months working on and off, I've finally finished my second EP. For those of you unfamiliar with the past stuff (read: the vast majority of you), it's a solo effort, but has a full complement of instruments producing something which has at various times appeared to be in the style of (and don't shoot me for these because I didn't say them, I'm hopeless with comparisons ) The Cure, Joy Division, [Early] Marillion and Pink Floyd, but obviously not all at once.
While I've just slipped a subtle hint into "Currently Listening To" on previous occassions, I feel that while this release may not be to everyone's personal taste, it qualifies as listenable in terms of musicianship and production, and as such I'm not ashamed to stick myself into the line of critical fire. Though I've probably spoken too soon
Anyway, the EP is 16:08 long, consists of 5 tracks, is available free of charge as a nice convenient zip file and should not be judged by the rather weird openning number

Being brave is coming home at 2am half drunk, smelling of perfume, climbing into bed, slapping the wife on the arse and saying,"right fatty, you're next!!"
See for yourself
Which, for the lazy, means:
No, the guitars have taken a harder edge and the plinky-plinky has been handed to the keyboards. Vocals are apparently better, but don't quote me. I've just tried to get a stronger semi-spoken voice that stands out in the mix rather than something more melodic. Or whatever
Edit: Thanks scotty

Thanks for taking the time to listen to it and congratulations for surviving all 3 records The feedback is especially appreciated, since in my current non-gigging situation it's the only way I can gauge what's working well in the ears of others.
As an aside, I hope my responses aren't sounding like pompous artwank. It's not intended, but I'm reading them as such... [/Rhetorical ]

And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
