McHeartland Christmas gathering?

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

I'll be there (or most probably Selby) in spirit. I expect a toast be made to absent friends. :notworthy:
And you know that she's half crazy but that's why you want to be there.

I hadn't thought of that! According to the 2 neds who accosted Tim, Claire & I at closing time, he looked like Sick Boy from Trainspotting  , I looked like Bin Laden (original) and Claire looked like Marilyn Monroe. :? No offence Claiire but that does confuse me, as you ain't blonde!

Anyway, a top nite out and getting to see inside a Glasgow hotel bar afterwards was not particularly interesting but most welcome! Thanks Tim. :notworthy:

I believe he's co-launched his own brand of fair trade tea, called "Tickety Boo". As I don't drink tea (cos it's s**t), I couldn't possibly tell you what it's like.

Just be grateful for the late opening times! Thanks for the company.

Major thanks to all the MacHeartlanders present for showing me a great time in your fair city - but then, what have I got to compare it with?

Until next time...
