Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. As I understand it, the whole social psychology field has been shook recently by the theory of social connectionism (connectivism?), which as I understand it - and I don't have a degree in psychology (although I do develop web based eLearning resources for degree-level Psychology) - is like chaos theory (from physics) applied to social psychology.


Which would explain a lot.

And do psychologists gloss over it in the same way that physicists do? :innocent:
