doktor who

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

i was thinking about what eldritch was going to do next & so i signed in tonight to kick a few ideas around.

i have previously campaigned for a tv career for said singer & have submitted a request to the bbc to see if he can be put forward to be the next doctor who (i see that the current one has the look, apart from the shades & hat).

failing that, i thought about the following;

1. a travel show.
eldritch & special guest get to visit various cities & talk about why they like them so much. pilot show will take him & lemmy to hamburg & they have a good look around & share some great 1 liners over coffee. they dont talk about music at all.

2.world cup 2006 commentator.
the bbc employ eldritch as their link man on the ground in germany. he reports on what the german press are saying about the england team & generally comes up with some great 1 liners (again).

3. cricket
still thinking about this one.

any more please? i can then compile a list & send it to his agent.

ps isnt the 25th birthday thing a typo.? i am working on the assumption that its 'cas vegas', which is a town in west yorkshire not far from ponte carlo.

dusting down my 16/2/81 t shirt.

this programm is already existing on ARTE. Have a look. The combination Lemmy/Eldritch is enticing though.

i guess what the english press has to say about the German team would be far more enthraling.
Put their heads on f*cking pikes in front of the venue for all I care.

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

Lemmy and Eldritch? Sharing one-liners? With their reputations?

White lines could be closer to the truth.

Or eye-liners.
