Unlikely places to spot...

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

Only about three mins in total but a VERY nice three mins indeedy

Almost as exciting as seeing Ian Brown in that crappy Harry Potter thingy.

What about a list of 'well fancy seeing him/her' in various films?

Well...not eggsakkerly how I meant this to turn out but, if you can't beat 'em...

That rowerey bloke (could be Tim somoneorother) at several London Chameleons gigs (phewie he's a big 'un..and yes stood IN FRONT OF ME!!! )

Then I got my own back at a Julian Cope gig at the Lyric Hammersmith coz I had front row seats and rowerey bloke was three rows behind me - take THAT sucker!

Keith Allen at a MarkE Smith/Howerd Devoto/PeteShelley/John Cooper Clarke Spoken Word thingy at Bridgewater Hall. Quite a few of our mates reckon Gaz looks like him (yeah I know I can't see it either...) but we were stood outside having a quick ciggie and Mr Allen waltzes up - does a double take at Gaz then walks on in looking back at Gaz as he does so :D

That bloke who was in the newest Teachers (the RE teacher) who is also in the Catherine tate Show - I'm wanting to say Matthew Horne, so I will... was at the Puressence gig at the Rescue Rooms. me being the 'I can spot a star at 400 yards' queen, quickly asked for confirmation of said sighting, only to be poo-pooed. Watched said gig. Then drunken friend walked over to group that Mr Horne was in and proceeded to point out that 'my mate reckons your that bloke off the telly in Teachers' MUCH laughter and sniggering from his group and mine as she'd accosted the wrong guy. ANYWAY, it was him and much to Gaz's disappointment Mr Horne told him it was highly unlikely that there'd be another series....

Erm...Mr Rumbold from Our You Being Served, told me off for sitting on the floor and getting in his way (on Steep Hill)...nah even I'M drifiting off thread now :D :D :D :D :D

Richard Whiteley looking in the window of a mobile phone shop in Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow c. 1997. Also saw Duncan Goodhew in same street in 1980. Clive Sinclair in his RR (instead of his C5 - can't think why :innocent: ) somewhere else in Glasgow in 1988. Almost as exciting as getting told off by Mr Rumbold (real name Nicholas Smith if I remember correctly).

Being bought a drink by my hero Clint Mansell at a s**t Wonder Stuff gig at the Hummingbird in Brum (circa 1990). And getting to spend half an hour feeling like a king drinking with the rest of the Poppies. Them were the days.
