Would you really pay this much for old tickets?

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

...at those prices it ought to include a trip in the TARDIS to the actual gig!

:urff:

Might have to see how much my Sisters/Depeche Mode ticket would go for.

Hope they do, I have those exact passes along with others in my garage.
Hmm, wonder who's selling them.

For most people, these are just old tickets, for some of us (including myself) they are a very rare piece of history worth paying for. That 's the difference between collecting and not collecting.

We all love the Sisters, cfr. the amount of post that are put on this forum every day, knowing that this is a band that did not release anything since 15 years (or 12 years if you count in SGWBM and ASCOO). Some of us just want to go one step further. There is nothing wrong with that. It's a choice one makes.

Whether you only like the old Sisters, only the new Sisters or the complete period, we all respect each others opnion (at least that's what I hope). The Sisters just mean a lot to us all and that is what we all have in common and what is the most important thing to remember !

P.S. And yes, I'm one of those who wanted to pay a good price for these "just" old tickets, but that you probably know by now .....

I agree with you brunobossier and I trust you took no offence, I'm sure we've all paid over the odds for something we felt was worth it.

Each to their own!!

(I used to have all my concert tickets neatly kept on a pin-board until I moved house about 15 years ago at which point they were scrapped. Along with loads of promo displays and concert posters...I'd rather not remember everything 'cos it seems criminal now, looking back!!)

All the best,

Keith

Inspired by the previous tickets on ebay. I have put my Sheffield ticket up for sale.

Apologies for the self-plugging.....
