The Good, The Bad & The Ugly

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

I bought the two-disc CD "The Good, The Bad & The Ugly" on ebay, which contains only live versions of all the covers they've played. Is this an official product, semi-official? If I remember correctly, I read somewhere before that this CD was sold during their tour. But I could be wrong.

I did a covers weed on here some time ago - most of Cd1 and some of CD2 on it. Looks like standard bootleg burns to me. Whats the quality like?

oh that official product covered a back catalogue large enough for even the die-hard fan to be able occasionally to find albums he hasn't heard of before...

as for "semi-official" product, the blind-eye turned to our weeding section could be seen as tacit permission. in a completely unofficial way, natch. :innocent:

unofficial, in the same way as victims of circumstance and that other one from Austrailia in 2005. Think Christian handles the 'distribution' in Europe
