@ streamline:- there's only ever a fine line between beauty and ugliness, harmony and dischord, awesome and awful.
fortunately in the case of the songs you mention and the song i cited that fine line -or your hop, skip and a jump- is the only thing they have in common.

look, theres the sisters doing a ministry song, i.e. a cover of a band
they helped to spawn. a few nods from some of the metal heads in
the audience, then its off to bed.

They could also make something of "Mecican Radio" (originally by Wall Of Voodoo").

Of course, someone could also do a cover of the song called "Venus" - you know, I'm your Venus etc, replacing the name Venus with a word p... but I think it would become more to Alien Sex Fiend than The Sisters.

"Young Americans" Davie Bowie. Bowie's vocal on this song is one of the most impressive things ever, but the song isn't as tough as his windpipe. I suspect Andrew can solve this problem.

"Space Dog" Tori Amos. Nice bass line for the Doktor, stupid lyrics for Andy to play with/laugh at.

"Sweet Thing/Candidate/Sweet Thing" Bowie. One of Von's favorites, and also one of mine. Just "Candidate" would be preferred for concerts, the whole thing is too long for live.

"Blasphemous Rumours" Depeche Mode. For all the obvious reasons, and because it's funny.
