Chris Curry's an interesting guy

Just one quote (and not the only one, but one that stands out):
"They say: "Europe becomes more and more a province of Islam, a colony of Islam. And Italy is an outpost of that province, a stronghold of that colony. In each of our cities lies a second city: a Muslim city, a city run by the Quran. A stage in the Islamic expansionism." (Oriana Fallaci in her new book "The Strength of Reason," "La Forza della Ragione" in Italian.)
I say: Okay, shut up, you fascists, I'm bored now!"
End quote.
People talking like this immediately lose my respect, be them right or left or in the effing centre.
Pretending you are a tolerant guy and then blatantly calling the whole of Italy and Norway a bunch of fascists makes you no better than extreme fundamentalists IMO.
But agreed, it was interesting reading...

I know Chris Curry (a good Catholic boy, from way, way back) Momus his alter ego, does make some very interesting sounds.
And, I think we all know I'm not a 'fanatic' of any persuasion.
