What is Bax Corp

THE place for your Sisters-related comments, questions and snippets of Sisters information. For those who do not know, The Sisters of Mercy are a rock'n'roll band. And a pop band. And an industrial groove machine. Or so they say. They make records. Lots of records, apparently. But not in your galaxy. They play concerts. Lots of concerts, actually. But you still cannot see them. So what's it all about, Alfie? This is one of the few tightly-moderated forums on Heartland, so please keep on-topic. All off-topic posts will either be moved or deleted. Chairman Bux is the editor and the editor's decision is final. Danke.

It's like Bux Corp, but with more a's. What Edward Bax may spell "Videotape", Herr Bux would spell "Videotrope" ;)

It used to be a money laundering scheme taking record company advances and buying drugs and ammunition. Currently, Bax Corp has moved into the more lucrative area of therapeutic massage. They're getting around to formally changing the name to "backs corp."
If this is heaven I'm bailin' out.

Ok. Fcuk smoke and mirrors.

Bax Corp is an imaginary entity created by Mr Eldritch to post on the Dominion mailing list without being entirely recognised. He's known to have posted as "Edward Bax".

Are a bloody pain.

Having received a pair for Christmas, I now remember why I went for baggy ones in the first place :von:

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

At one point a serious rival of the Knights Templar, Bax Corp was also known to be in league with the Tristero postal system and the shadowy Diaretics movement, the power of matter over mind. Last known as a subsidiary, or possibly parent company, of Yoyodyne Propulsion Systems.

Clever, butI don't think Von would approve.

You don't think he appreciates historical, sci-fi, or literary references? Maybe I should take another look at his listening/reading/watching lists...

Does he appreciate (indeed has he even heard of) R. A. Wilson or Thomas Pynchon though?

I'd assume with the rant against post-modernism that he wouldn't be a big fan of Pynchon.
