Just wondering....does any one out there think there will ever be a new Sisters album ? (cannot think practically why not, if all the new technology as endorsed on the Sisters web site is used {to reduce costs apart from anything else..., and anyway - the web info is long out of date...everything has got easier and cheaper by the day...that's computers for you...after all you can now buy a reasonable recording system for under £1000 these days...just add the talent...(and of course the talent is the most important thing...)
Feck, they could even be an option of a order by web album thing...
And if there is a "product", will it be crap, or constructive..do you even want to hear it if it did exist....?
Questions, questions....
Take care all...
Zumy...
So, any progress...
A new album consisting of tracks such as Romeo Down, War On Drugs, We Are The Same Suzanne, etc... will be a disappointment as we've been hearing those songs for years. To impress me it'd have to be an album of all new material, possibly with Romeo Down, etc... saved for bonus tracks on the singles.
I still want those tunes - "We Are The Same, Susanne", "Romeo Down", "Snub Nose", "War On Drugs", "Crash And Burn" - to be in an official album. Otherwise we have them only with a bootleg-sound

Yeh sure, I wanna hear studio versions of those songs, but don't you think that a "new" album containing songs we've been hearing for 5-10 years would be a little bit disappointing?pikkrong wrote:I still want those tunes - "We Are The Same, Susanne", "Romeo Down", "Snub Nose", "War On Drugs", "Crash And Burn" - to be in an official album. that song is sooooo cool as a mixing desk live track
.......and if we are given to believe the hype, he has stacks of stuff no one has heard yet.
Reinforced by the fact that apparently Adam refused to play some of it last year

Not surprising when you consider that AE owns the majority of the copywrite to "his" material!

Yeah there were even "reviews" of some Palazzagrassi bootlegs in one of the early UTR's (in 1992 I think). It certainly does make you wonder...

I heard rumors from a reliable source that andrew have been involved in releasing at least 2 bootleg double vinyl albums. I won´t tell ya which ones, but i you take a good look at the covers of these albums, you can guess which ones i mean
Andrew Eldritch Dour Festival 1997: Yeah, We take any request... As much as we ever do.

yeah, having been to a few sistes gigs (not that many, no more than a handful) and noticing (at least at the tenth year birthday party gig at leeds poly i think it was (von did some mtv interviews in the foyer before hand as i recall)) a recording being taken from the mixing desk, as well as video cameras openly being used, followed by being given a printed flyer offering that gig for sale on bootleg before even leaving the building. as well as von mentioning at least once they record every live show whenever possible, i can believe that von has more than a couple of bootlegs on the market, after all, vodka and fags don't grow on trees...

You know, if we got one more album, I'd be happy. After that I would happily accept that another sisters product would never come my way, if we just had that *one* more record. Just one more. Is that too much to ask?
