Right, do we have a roll-call for NY yet? As it's the only one I can afford, it'd be nice to know who I'm going to run into :?:

I shall be doing the tourist thing/sating my insatiable need for funk45s around the city from the 4th-8th...

Johnny, Francis, CorpPunk & Electrochrome will all be clutching gig tickets in their sweaty little palms. 8)

Well...considering how things are shaping up, I'm thinking of getting one of those New York with Kids guidebooks to keep all the refugee Brits amused.

Hey Rob it'll be good to see you again. Myself (Matt - complete with haircut) and Claire will definitely be there (online orders worked okay for us). Haven't really seen you since Longest Day Fest in Notts or briefly in London 2003.

Planning on spending five days. Hope to some of you there.

Lex you going to any dates??

Matt..

Finally got a new computer after 2 months of internet cafes. So if any weeds needed let me know.

I just saw the advert in the local newspaper that The Sisters are playing New York, at the "old" Ritz, which was a great place to see live bands, hey I saw The m*****n there in 1987 among many other acts...so now it's called Webster Hall. What's in a name, hopefully it's still a great place to see live bands.

I bought my ticket, have not seen them since Roseland 1999, obviously since I don't travel much...

After reading through this board, it seems as if I'm the only New Yorker going to this show. I hope that's not true.

I look forward to a great show, and a good live recording. Hopefully...

my apologies for not reading every post's fine print in the thread, so then 3 New Yorkers and the other 1197 attendies (if the show sells out) not from New York...

I figured that the tour might cause you to make an appearance here.

I know of at least one person from Sunset Park heading to the gig. Others are still up in the air. I better get my act together and order those tickets; I have all the others (which I am attending) ordered already.

Top one! Indeed it's been a while, we shall have to catch up over some of that fizzy yellow stuff they call beer over there ;D I'll be about for 4 days or so. Lex is doing some of the earlier dates instead.

Methinks i'll be on the vodka, can't see me getting to many pints of Aston Press Cider or indeed any decent cider (if such a thing exists!) in the States.

Was thinking about doing either Washington or Philadelphia to get to my 50th gig, but i don't think my budget will stretch.

See you there, will drop you a pm nearer the time and maybe meet up somewhere.

Matt..

How many actual New Yorkers are still interested in The Sisters after all these years anyway? I bet this show won't even sell out. :?:

We are this far along already!? This gig is the day after my b'day & I wouldn't mind going. Come out of the gig & have a beer in New York for my 26th? I'll go with that.
BUT, what's going on? Are all tickets sold out (forgive me, deprived of net access recently & too impacient to read posts...)

Pls help a H/lander in need of TLC (& a New York ticket  )

I'll be there - not a NYer, just live and work there. Be great to meet all you lovely people - see you outside the venue. If it aids in recognition, I'll be wearing a black leather jacket...

Hello HLers

Do we have a meeting place for before or after the NYC gig? If not I can probably suggest as I know the neighborhood well. It's really too bad that I am between apartments at the moment, as my new lease (which starts March 15th) is for a cool place just a few blocks from the venue... I'd have had a party...

Also can we get a sound-off of who is attending the gig? Both New Yorkers and B+T crowd...

EvilBastard sounds off like he's got a pair (of comedy-sized man-breasts). Where are the black-clad masses assembling? Can't think of places round there except maybe Nevada's, and I don't think we'd be welcome.

Umm, circumstances dictate otherwise that I won't make the NY/DC/Philly trio...

@ Jenny - Top lady. Sorry. But you know why.

@ Francis - Top man. Really gutted. I know I've fucked up our entire touring schedule. Sorry again.

@ Val - One day.

Have a good time guys. Love to you all.
