Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"

there seems to be two whales in the Thames...
the one as mentioned in PiB's post...and another one just off the Essex coast...the whale watchers think it's a mother and calf that have strayed into unfamiliar waters
sadest thing is will the one down river survive and get back into open water past the flood barrier

Dim, through the misty panes and thick green light,
As under a green sea, I saw him drowning.

With Robert Shaw, Michael Caine and Roy Scheider all chasing them in a winged boat (that can speak)? The end comes in London aquarium when the crazed fish smash trhough the glass leaving Caine to look on agast (with 3D glasses perched on his nose)Planet Dave wrote:Two flying killer sharks? Some people thought it was a whale, some thought it was a baby shark.
Then they found out that the animal keeps begging for fish, is a couple of fins short to be called Jaws and instead of tearing people to bits the animal helps people finding their inner strength and peace...
Joy. You people have yer own Flipper. You can join Dingle Island now

I fear so
First they say to leave the poor thing alone, because of the stress, then they decide to rescue it and it dies... well, of course, maybe it would've died without the rescue attempt, too
