Could someone please help me, I deleted some files (emptied recycle bin) and I really need to get them back! Does anyone know how to retrieve them?
I'm on Windows ME.

There's some link on here how to recover such things, err, don't remember exactly what it was (I posted it) but it was in a topic posted by emma who also had to recover stuff. I'd search myself but it's just this forum is so damn slow
If you find it, feel free to ask for explanation

Oh, and keep this in mind: Everything is still on there, but do as little as possible! The more things you run/open, the less chance of retrieving!
It IS slow today, indeed.Obviousman wrote:There's some link on here how to recover such things, err, don't remember exactly what it was (I posted it) but it was in a topic posted by emma who also had to recover stuff. I'd search myself but it's just this forum is so damn slow
But I've found it.

As mentioned before, you're able to retrieve lost files, and since I got my mails deleted, I complained about this to a friend of mine, who tipped me to try to recover them, I had no luck since they were deleted by outlook, but you'll surely have more luck:
Try this link and the program, just type in the extension of the file you need, et voilà ...
The faster you do it, the better it'll work, since your computer uses the empty space again (even while shutting down or restarting), so be quick!!! (and if this one doesn't work, search download.com for some good programs, there are loads available)
Good luck, again!!!

OK, here's what you do. You take your hard drive, place it in a pentagram, and banish it to the plains of Leng using ancient Dark rituals.
Then get XP. It's not brilliant, but it's measles compared to getting the f**king Space Cancer that is WinME.

Alas, I'm only ill; like having a hangover, with none of the fun stuff.
