A Truly Goffic School Outing... kinda

Does exactly what it says on the tin. Some of the nonsense contained herein may be very loosely related to The Sisters of Mercy, but I wouldn't bet your PayPal account on it. In keeping with the internet's general theme nothing written here should be taken as Gospel: over three quarters of it is utter gibberish, and most of the forum's denizens haven't spoken to another human being face-to-face for decades. Don't worry your pretty little heads about it. Above all else, remember this: You don't have to stay forever. I will understand.

The resident "goths" of my school (me and my mate James) will be embarking on a school trip to Spain tomorrow night (along with 30 other airheads).

Sunglasses in hand (or on face), Sisters shirts at the ready, and a little performance, should make us walking cliches...

Amongst all the fun we'll also be visiting a school (and shadowing a student... :?) and visiting a Church that claims to have some pieces of the (real) Cross...

So yeah, a trip to Spain... good job it'll only be 10 degrees. 8)

There are two churches that claim to have the skull of John The Baptist.

One is his skull from when he died, the other his skull from when he was 6.

:innocent:

I have no idea whether this is, in fact, true. But Umberto Eco has William of Baskerville make such a claim in The Name Of The Rose and it's just too funny to pass up.
The fundamental cause of the trouble is that in the modern world the stupid are cocksure while the intelligent are full of doubt.

What is the skull of John the Baptist compared to the skull of Dead (Mayhem) which I was confronted with once. (at least pieces of...) :innocent:

let's say Euronymous considered some friends of mine "true enough" to be worth this (questionable) gift.

Hey, us Swedes know exactly what you're talking about. After all, Dead was a compatriot (and an excellent singer as well, just listen to Live in Leipzig).

Well I was handsome and I was strong
And I knew the words to every song.
"Did my singing please you?"
"No! The words you sang were wrong!"
