A drummer?

I agree Dr. Avalanche should hand his bass-function back to a living person again, but a drummer :?:

Yup. Screw this cramped and rigid "industrial groove machine" singback thing and get some space for rocking. Even the puppets in Depeche Mode have come to realise this. IMHO, Doktor Avalanche isn't what defines The Sisters - the songs are. Also, it would be a move further away from that persistent g*th label and into rock'n'roll territory.

Anyway, it's probably as hypothetical an issue as Motorhead dropping Mikkey Dee for a TR-505.

I'd go for Adrenochrome too, but if they did, there's an above average chance they'd trash it badly, like Floorshow in 93. :urff:

I see your point, but still I'm very fond of the good Doktor  Or you'd have to be looking for a very 'machine-y' drummer, at which point everyone'll start throwing in even more rip-off comments  Probably of bands newer than the Sisters. I often find bands that stop using drum-machines to be less, hmm, energetic, driven compared to when they did use it. Not that I know that many

Let me see, my wishlist:

I'd go for the witty comments, some new songs and great cover versions, the 40 minutes version of Afterhours would be cool to though

And as someone else said before: Jihad, would make sense, wouldn't it :D

The Doktor does not define the SOM but is most definately one of the mainstay pillars in its foundations, such as sunglasses, thought-provoking lyrics & humourous quips
